We celebrate the first International Day of Potato by focusing on the contribution of the potato to the lives of producers and consumers with the theme: Harvesting diversity, feeding hope.

Kvorning is part of Team Exponex, an international team participating in the competition about designing and implementing the exhibition for at the Nordic Pavilion for the EXPO 2025 Osaka. The pavilion will represent the unity of the five Nordic countries: Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, and Sweden. The theme being ‘’Designing Future Society for Our Lives’.
Team Exponex consists of Exponex, Czech Republic, Wintenex and Habegger, both Switzerland, Kvorning, Denmark, Rintala Eggertsson Architects, Norway, Gagarin, Iceland, and Rei Matsumoto, Japan, onboard.
We are thrilled to announce that our good friends and partners Gagarin, Iceland, has received a nomination to the European Design Awards 2024 in the category, ‘Digital Infographics’ for producing the animations in the Heavy Water Cellar in Vemork, Norway.
Kvorning produced and installed the main exhibition. Gagarin created several interactive exhibits at the Heavy Water Cellar in Norway where the daring sabotage mission took place.
Kvorning has developed exhibition concept and design for 2 of 3 Norwegian museums nominated for Årets Museum 2024 / Museum of the Year 2024 by the Norwegian Museum Association. The Jekt Trade Museum in Bodø and the Hurtigrute Museum in Stokmarknes.

Exhibition designers from Cape Town, Amsterdam, London, New York, Mexico City, and Copenhagen met today to present and discuss selected works – focusing on key themes like transformation, social polarization, racial justice, climate emergency, techno ethics through their work.
Arne Kvorning was invited to participate this session and introduced Salmon Eye as a transformative project with focus on sustainable fish farming – a conference center, a visitor experience, and a fine dining restaurant all in one floating pavilion.
The forum was organized by Tricia Austin from Central Saint Martins, University of the Arts London and Tim McNeil, University of California, Davis. As editors for the Routledge series Museum Making, they envisage the discussions leading to a new book that would feature industry expertise from across the world to demonstrate the important impact of exhibition design on society.
