Salmon Eye is nominated for the German Design Awards 2024 in the category Architecture.
Kvorning Design developed the architectural concept and iconic design of the floating pavilion in the 900-meter-deep Norwegian Hardangerfjord for Eide Fjordbruk, Norway, as experience center and restaurant.
Sondre Eide, CEO and third-generation salmon farmer of Eide Fjordbruk, says –
‘Salmon Eye is a visual symbol of the Eide Family’s desire to develop and inspire to groundbreaking fusion of technology development, innovation, and sustainability in seafood production.’

World Heritage Day is observed annually on April 18th to raise awareness about the significance of World Heritage sites and the importance of safeguarding them for future generations.
Kvorning Design have developed and realized visitor centres and exhibition concepts for UNESCO World Heritage sites in Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Italy, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and China since 1992.
