Kvorning Design & Communication in Copenhagen is looking for creative master’s students with a passion for doing competition work and design tasks in Denmark and internationally, in places such as Norway and Russia.

As an intern with Kvorning at Njalsgade 21E on Islands Brygge in Copenhagen you will build lots of valuable experience while carrying out fun and exciting projects! Together, we create magical spaces and moments.

Send us a short description of yourself, examples of visualisations and a few lines on your preferred software and platforms. We work with the Adobe suite, particularly PS. Rhino is a common platform for all our 3D’s. V-Ray is also part of the software package. These skills are essential – and especially Rhino.

Based on over 26 years of international experience with museum design and exhibition design Arne Kvorning talks at the IMCC 2018 Conference at Westin Grand Berlin, Germany, focusing on bridging possible gaps between building architects, museum curators and exhibition designers.

Through a selection of cases Arne Kvorning will share his experiences and challenges working with museums and ‘starchitects’.

Kvorning Design & Communication wins turnkey exhibition for the world famed Dam Trolls or Good Luck Trolls.

The museum setting is creator Thomas Dam’s workshop from the 1950s at its original location in Gjøl, close to Aalborg, Denmark.

Since October 2016 the animated movie about the Nordic trolls has been playing in theatres thus peaking the popularity of the charming, now 60-year-old Dam trolls.

Kvorning Design & Communication wins international competition about turnkey exhibition for The Whaling Museum in Sandefjord; Europe’s only museum of whales and whaling.

Museum Director Dag I. Børresen, The Whaling Museum, says –

Kvorning was chosen as exhibition designer due to the company’s broad experience within turnkey exhibitions. Experience, competences and understanding of the museum needs combined with an attractive concept were important criteria that were met during the tender competition. The Whaling Museum looks forward to co-operating with Kvorning Design & Communication on this new and exciting exhibition.

The Whaling Museum is part of the organisation Vestfoldmuseene IKS.

A warm welcome to Marie Engelhardt Sjögreen, who is the new intern at Kvorning Design & Communication in the period October – January 2019. The internship spans Marie’s seventh semester at the Aarhus School of Architecture, Denmark.
