Kvorning was invited to create a concept for Paisley Museum’s permanent exhibition, Paisley Museum Re-Imagined. To redisplay and reinterpret the Museum’s collections in a vibrant, stimulating and creative way, delivering a world-class 21st century experience that is unique and innovative, making merit of the strenghts of the collections, telling the stories unique to the town and its place within the world.
Kvorning’s concept creates a highly flexible, spatial environment – working with both existing and new axes and sightlines in Paisley Museum. 100 stories with focus on the unique objects presented in a delicate pattern – weaving the stories and immersive key attractions together in a series of breathtaking exhibition experiences.
Exhibition zones, display elements and their varied analogue and digital media open up for new ways of understanding the objects – brought together in at one time both beautiful and surprising relations – like actors on a theatre stage.
