NATIONAL AQUARIUM DENMARK – DEN BLÅ PLANET

case
CLIENT: NATIONAL AQUARIUM DENMARK – DEN BLÅ PLANET
PROJECT: PERMANENT EXHIBITION
LOCATION: COPENHAGEN, DENMARK
At The Blue Planet, Kvorning created a unique experience centered around life in the fresh and salty waters of our planet. Here visitors are drawn into an atmospheric universe below the surface which fascinates and enthrals both grown-ups and little ones.

This comprehensive concept offers a sensory and absorbing experience of a world below the surface. The combination of lights, sounds, AV-technology, projections, movies, interactive elements, graphics and signage may be decoded at several levels. It also ensures that visitors, regardless of age, prior knowledge or interests, get the best possible experience. The concept sets new standards for under-water dissemination and design.

Kvorning and partners developed, produced and implemented the exhibition and dissemination concept as well as lighting- and sound concepts. The content and the overall concept was planned in cooperation with The National Aquarium. Lighting and sound design was developed and implemented in liaison with Jesper Kongshaug and Anders Jørgensen, Stouenborg.
